What a wonderful woman - my sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
To the family of Gloria Hixon: I am so sorry to hear of the death of this wonderful lady. She was my Home Economics teacher at Scranton, d(don't remember what yr.) but she was a great teacher & a wonderful person. I learned a lot about sewing (which I still do today) from her. Our thoughts & prayers are with her family. May the Lord wrap His arms of love around you as you face the coming days.
To the Hixson family~~~~My heart is sadden by the death of your mom!!! I was a student of hers when she taught at Scranton. We called her Miss Jetters. She only taught half a semester; because she met Jess Will and they were married. After I graduated and married Ronnie we moved to Paris. Took us a long time to start back to church; but, when we did this very nice lady welcomed us and it was your mom! It took me forever to call her Gloria. She kept telling me I was not her student anymore and Gloria would be just fine!!! She has always been a beautiful person inside and out. I am truly blessed to be able to count her as one of my blessings. She loved all of you so much! Keep those memories close to your heart. She always had a smile for everyone!! I will miss her!!
