Frank R. Bell, 88, of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in New Blaine, Arkansas. He was born on October 9, 1923 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to his parents, Jesse James and Dollie Mae Bell. He was a retired parts department manager at Dub Richardson Ford, a farmer, a member of the Delaware First Baptist Church, an army veteran of WWII and a volunteer fireman for Station 200 in New Blaine, Arkansas,

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lois Coker and Virginia Dodd; and one brother Jess William Bell.

Frank is survived by his wife of 15 years, Laverne J. (Cook) Bell; one son, Mark D. Bell of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter, Suzanne Lewis of New Blaine, Arkansas; one sister, Beverley Popejoy of Moore, Oklahoma; one brother, Gary Willis of Canadian, Oklahoma and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 , at Roller Funeral Chapel, Paris, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Delaware First Baptist Church in Delaware, Arkansas with Rev. Wylie Jones officiating.

Burial will be in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home, Paris.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Bell, Richard Bell, Jerry Pebley, Mike Johnson, Joe Garrison and John Farnam.

I worked with Frank for 25 years.; He was a very stearn in his way but always fair. I had not seen Frank for several years, but thought of him often. I felt Honored to be a pallbearer. He will be missed, may he rest in peace.
