Our condolences to Mary and the family. Though I was a classmate of Tom's, I got to know him better after we both ended up back here in Pocahontas during this past year. We will miss him and his wit dearly. RIP Tom

Mary and Family

I am so very sorry for your loss. Of all the bosses I ever had Tom was the best and also a very dear friend. I already miss him. I was going to call him and give him a heads up on the new western the Sisters Brothers coming out this month. Tom and I always enjoyed the same books and movies. I look forward to seeing him again in a better place.

Mary, Garrick and Monieca, so sorry to hear about Tom. He was a wonderful man and a great mentor and business leader. I loved growing up with your sweet family on Spruce Street and have so many funny memories of those times. Tom will always have the distinction of teaching me how to drive. I loved him. Marty and I will be praying for your families. May God bless you,

So very sorry Tom has passed. He was my very first commercial radio General Manager at KTGR in Columbia, Missouri during the 1970’s and I learned so much from him through his wise leadership and his gentle spirit. We stayed in touch over many years, and I will always cherish the memory of his hearty laugh and his willingness to step up and help any friend.

What a wonderful man. Blessed to have known and worked with him. When I was supposed to be dying of stomach cancer, Tom and all of my co-workers came to the house every morning to fix me breakfast. Loosing Tom is much like loosing a family member. You'll always be remembered. God Bless. Rest in the peace you deserve. Oh. Tom fired me once then called a week later to see when I was coming back. LOL. I did. Love You and your whole family.

Very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I have so many good memories of working at KCWD and all the folks that were there during my time. We didn't share the same opinions on several things, but I loved to argue with him. He never took it personal and would give it right back! I always enjoyed hearing his stories from an earlier, more "care free" time in radio. Of course, he would have had a fit if we did in the late 80's, some of those same stunts he and his cronies pulled!
