Sally Jean Alexander, passed away on August 30, 2018. She was born June 18, 1927 to Albert J. and Ina Dee (Carter) Burcham, in Conway, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wilburn Alexander; two grandchildren, Jessica and Adam Standridge; three brothers, Wayne, Jack and James Burcham; sister, Zelma Mercer and one son-in-law; Donny Standridge.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie McWhorter (Earl) , Judy Standridge, Regina Standridge (Jimmy); three granddaughters, Sheri Mitchell, Tracy McWhorter, Tonya Voorend (Andy) and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
She loved spending time with her five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, listening to bluegrass music and fishing. She had a long and fulfilling life and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service to honor Sally Jean will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock (501-791-7400), with burial to follow at New Liberty Cemetery in Faulkner County. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, September 3rd at the funeral home.
