Marion, I thought about you last night. I had not seen or heard from you in a few years. So I looked you up. Sorry, that I was too late to say hello. After my father died in 97, you were one of the stabilizing male figures in my life. I wanted you to know that you being there every Saturday at Bonanza was a highlight of my week. May your wings be strong and carry you high. So sorry to have lost touch....

I'm so sorry to hear of Marion’s passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW

So sorry to hear of Marion's passing. He was a wonderful person. I have known him since I was a little girl & my parents bought furniture from him at the old Jacksonville Furniture Store. He always loved to tease me about my red hair but then he would hug me to make sure we were still friends. As I grew older he always remembered me whenever we ran across each other & had a hug for me. Rest In Peace sweet friend.

Marion was the best kind of friend. This world was a better place with him in it. He tutored me in Mechanical drawing when we were in school. Any time I needed help and called him he was always a true friend. He and some more boys from school joind the National Guard about the time of the Pres. John F Kennedy's Bay of Pigs. I can't remember if they actually went anywhere or not. Does anyone else remember? Marion was a senior and I was in the 10th grade. My thoughts and prayers are with Sharon, Mike & Jeff and their families. May the Lord comfort you in your hours of grief.
