Dear Shana...I wish I could've been there for you and your family during the rough times but sometimes the things we mean to say don't quite come out online in the love and pain we are feeling for you and your family in real life. If I could rewind the past, stop my fingers from typing and just hug you instead to let you know the loving friend you had been to me. To err is human....to forgive is divine....but to wish to see a friend one more time is heartbreaking. I know without a doubt you are indeed in heaven and you have left your legacy behind and big shoes to fill that we can all try to fill...but can never be replaced. You, my friend...they truly broke the mold although you were a twin. You leave us all hurting but better people than we were before we knew you. True angels are never meant to walk this Earth for long periods of time and you were one of them. I love you forever and will miss you always.

Scott and Piper,

Though we have not seen you these last couple of years, we have been praying for Shanna and you both as well. Shanna was good (good mom, good friend, good woman). While she is in a better place, her loss is great because her life and person was so good. We are continuing to pray for you guys.

In the real estate world we have "crises", meaning drop everything you are doing in the pile the height of a 4 story building and do my stuff!! Shanna handled these situations with grace and made you feel like she welcomed the intrusion. She made each one of us feel as though we were the most important thing in her life at that moment. I used to say, if you are depressed, call Shanna. It is impossible to be sad when you hear her voice. That is a unique gift we had and I will use her attitude as an inspiration. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Shanna was a wonderful woman, with a kind soul and a beautiful smile to match. She loved her family so much and was completely devoted to Scott and Piper-Bliss. My prayers are with you all, for peace and comfort, as your hearts try to heal from her absence.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Shanna will surely be missed by all of us in the Title Industry. She always had a smile on her face and we will miss that. She never had anything bad or negative to say about anyone. God will surely like having her in Heaven. She will be a joy. My prayers go out to her family and prescious daughter. Who she never stopped talking about.

Clay, Shala and Tanya. You may not remember me, but we lived next door when you lived on Elmhurst when you all were young. Your Mom Gay kept our son Kyle when he was a baby. I hsve many happy memories of time spent with your family.
I am so sorry to read about your loss of Shanna. I wish I could come to the visitation and see you all, but I will be out of town. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Shanna,

There are so many things that I wanted to tell you over these last few weeks but the timing was never right. I am so happy that you are now free of pain and your now watching over us as you always have. I am sad for many reasons but more thankful that you have been a part of my life for some 30 plus years. I want to thank you for being such a loving and devoted wife to Scott and as a promise that I made to you, I will make sure to look after him. I thank you for being the wonderful mother that you have been to Piper and I promise that we won't spoil her too much. Ha! She will learn to fish and I look forward to the many fun outings we will have!! I also thank you for being my friend, a sister, and yes, even sometimes a mother too me when needed over these years. You were always there and full of so much love for everyone!! You put up with all of us crazy boys invading your apartment or house on Sunday evenings as we all shared in take out or a wonderful dinner that you would cook. You were and always will be an angel to me with the most beautiful smile. I will miss you Shanna and I am thankful that you have been a part of my life. Your wonderful family, Scott and Piper will always be in my prayers and I thank them for sharing you with all of us. May you rest in peace now sweet girl!!
