March 6, 1943 - December 15, 2016
Freida N. Draper, age 73 of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Passed away peacefully on December 15, 2016. She was born to the late, Alfred A. Jistel and Thelma G. Miller in Cameron, Texas on March 6, 1943.
Freida was known for her beauty, both inside and out. She did some modeling and beauty pagents in her youth and was also a dancer on the Dallas Bandstand, which was equivalent of the ''American Bandstand''. Freida loved gardening and loved her flowers. Jason, her son, fondly remembers the long walks his mother took every day, how much she loved family and the wonderful tales told from mom and dad's travels around the world. Freida will be greatly missed by all who knew her and her son, Jason will miss the long, deep conversations the two of them shared, mother and son reminiscing about days gone by.
Freida is preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry W. Draper, her parents; and one sister, Catherine Shofner of Lancaster, TX. She is survived by her son, Jason Oliver of Scott, AR; one sister, Margaret Heineman of Addison, TX; two brothers, Donald Jistel of Jacksonville, TX and Joe Jistel of Palestine, TX.

I knew your mom when she and my mom were at Elmcroft HV. I so enjoyed walking the halls and talking with your mom. She was very beautiful. So sorry for your loss. You and your family our in my thoughts and prayers.
