January 14, 2002 - August 20, 2016

Eric Allen Latch, 14, of North Little Rock, was able to leave his physical struggles behind and let his light shine bright on August 20, 2016. Eric's light began to shine, on the day he was born, January 14, 2002 in Little Rock to Chad Samuel and Lori Anne Latch.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Ruby Redd; brother, Marcus; maternal grandparents, Marcus Billingsley and Karen Clark; Paternal grandparents, Tina Birchfield and Steve Latch; as well as many very dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service will be 2 P.M. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, PO Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203 or online giving.archildrens.org, for Eric Latch. Eric will receive a plaque on the tribute wall and the donations will be for Infant Toddler Critical Care vent room, at the family's request.

Lori I was thinking about you today and looked you up and found this about your boy. Words can't express...I am terribly sorry. I remember reading all your posts and seeing your photos of Eric. He was such a cool-looking, happy, vital kid. I am here for you , even though it's been a while.

Lori and Chad I just heard about Eric tonight.I'm not sure if you remember me but I was one of his nurses when he was about 2. I will always remember my time I spent with Eric and the family. I learned so much working with Eric. He taught me things like persistence. keep trying no mafter what. it was incredible to know him and his family. we will pray for you. Tamara

Dear Lori and precious family,
My heart is heavy for you and all who loved your precious Eric. He had a huge impact on me. I want to dream of him in eternity running and eating to his heart's content. I am a better human for Eric's special touch on my life. He will always be remembered for the honest and sweet spirit he shared with us all.

I am sorry for your loss. I never got a chance to know Eric, but, he would have been a student of mine this ninth grade year; however, God needed him to be an angel in heaven. His classmates spoke highly of him. Many prayers to you and your family.

Lori & Family we are so very sorry to hear about Eric but heaven has a very special angel there n he will be forever remembered n always missed n loved here. Kaytlyn has many great memories of spending time with Eric playing video games. She has special place n her heart for her cousin Eric she says. Our thought n prayers are with all of u.

Mr. Marc and Family so sorry for your loss. My God Bless you all and keep the light of Eric shinning in your hearts. Remember all the good and funny thing that he said and did for those will carry you thru all the bad times. He is walking with GOD and in no more pain just HAPPY TIMES.
