To the Hedgecock family,
We lived on Coronado Circle and met John and his wife back in 1999, when we first moved there. We would always talk when he walked by with his precious two dogs. There would be times he would stop in his van and just say hello. We sold our home on Coronado Circle in May of 2015. We now live in England. One thing that we didn't want to do was leave all of our good neighbors behind, but we wanted a change. We just want to say, we loved your Mr John Hedgecock. Please know that it was a pleasure knowing your dad, brother and grandfather. May he rest in God's almighty arms of peace. Take care,
Carla & Willie Simpson (use to live at 7 Coronado Circle)

My deepest condolences to all of John's wonderful family, friends and associates - he'll be missed. It was my pleasure to share space on a Rugby pitch with this rock of a man, as well as follow his terms as our president with several of my own. Alwsys an inspiration, he was deeply respected by adversaries and team-mates, alike. RIP Sailor.

i first met john when we rode the bus together to the N.C.T.R, he invited me to participate in judo and rugby with him and we did that for many years after and became close friends. john was a very athletic and intelligent person and everyone liked and respected him, he was like a real life john wayne character and was always the guy on the white horse if he saw anything wrong going on. he led a quiet life and loved his family and his cats. he will be missed by all who knew him.

My condolences to the family. I hope that comfort can be found in the Bible and in prayer. How we look forward to the promise found at Acts 24:15, " there is going to be a resurrection ". We all look forward to seeing our loved ones soon.
