Elma Lee Meritt Beaty, 83, died Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born on May 5, 1932, to the late Elmer and Clara Nolen Meritt in North Little Rock.
Elma graduated from North Little Rock High School, Class 1950, and was a member of the Levy Baptist Church and longtime member of Baring Cross Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 55 years, Waylan Eugene Beaty and her parents.
Survived by son, Raymond Beaty; daughter, Nancy Bryan (Don) both of North Little Rock; two grandsons: Jacob (Melissa) Bryan of Little Rock, Ian Bryan of Russellville; sister, Rosemary Meritt of North Little Rock; two aunts: Mary Nolen Kozak of North Little Rock, and Hazel Meritt Gibson of Little Rock.
