"Goodbye, buddy"

My sincerest condolences to the family in this time of sorrow. Girls, your Dad was the kindest man I've ever known. He was a supreme human being and one I felt proud to call my friend. The world will be a lesser place without him.

Amy and I are deeply saddened and pray for the family. What a great guy. He was my coach, mentor, and last boss with ASP. Had a great dinner with him last year when we visited. I will miss my oldest brother.

It has been decades, since I met and knew Randy York, when he was working in Hot Springs. He was always really nice, just as I found both his Mother and Father to be. I still have a picture someone took of us at some Halloween party here in Hot Springs in the 1970s. He was a straight shooter, then, and from what I have read here, always was to all who knew him. He is too young to be gone, but God must have wanted him closer. I pray for those, he left behind, with the message, that the day will come, when we all meet in the sky with Jesus Christ.

I've known Randy for many, many years. I marched behind him in formation when were in the ASP academy together and worked with him many time in the years after. He was a good, decent and dedicated man - and a friend to all. He leaves behind a legacy of fond memories and friendship that would be difficult to rival. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God bless and keep you all in the days to come.

I first met Randy when he was a rookie officer in training at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in Camden. In a later time, during his time in the narcotics division, he graciously provided his instructional services to us. He never failed to offer his expertise when asked. Many officers benefitted from his experience and knowledge. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and may God comfort you as only He can.

Randy and I worked at ASP together for many, many years. His daughters went to school with my daughters and we would often see each other at football games. He was a very loving and devoted father. The highlight of his life was his grandkids. I lift the whole family up in prayer. Lean on God during this time.

I worked with Randy at ASP while in the OIS Division. He was such a nice man to me. I will never forget the time he had his dog at work and the dog jumped up in Randy's chair in his office. This is so sad and he will be truly missed. God Bless you Randy and your family. RIP my friend.

Randy was a good man and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Anyone that will go across the country in a motor home that broke down constantly with two other state troopers, a twelve-year-old and an 88-year-old man would have to have several extra stars in his crown! He did that and enjoyed it and was able to laugh about it for years! He was a very special person that will be missed and thought of always. Love you, Randy York.

Would be there for you at the drop of a hat. I remember one night , not long ago, we were online and I misplaced my cell phone.
