of Sherwood, AR
November 16, 1931 - March 30, 2015
Tom ''Bill'' Parker, 83, Sherwood, left this life to be with his Lord and Savior on March 30, 2015. He was surrounded by the love of his life and his best friend for fifty-eight years, Sylvia, along with his three daughters, who have always known that they were the luckiest girls in the world to have such a wonderful Dad.
He leaves behind his wife, Sylvia Parnell Parker; daughters, Debi Parker, Cindy Pickett (Don), Susan Poppy (Freddie); six grandchildren, Nicole (Andy), Duncan, Michael (Heather), Sydney, Alexa (Cara), Bryce and four great-grandchildren, a brother, Nick Parker (Beverly) of San Diego, California and a very special brother-in-law, Clinton Anderson of England, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Joe Parker, and his sisters, Sue Corley and Patsy Anderson.
Bill grew up in Toltec, Arkansas before leaving to join the Navy. Upon his return, he met the woman of his dreams and started the greatest part of his life. Bill and Sylvia raised three daughters who were their pride and joy. Life got even better when the grandkids and great-grandkids came along.
Bill was an avid golfer who loved playing and enjoyed the time spent with many friends on the golf course. Life for Bill was definitely a hole in one every day.

Dear Parker Family, mother and I are saddened to learn of Mr. Parker's passing. You were such wonderful neighbors for such a long time and there are so many memories wrapped up around our families. But when I think of your Dad, it's those Sunday afternoon pickup basketball games that come to mind. Anybody could play! And it was so much fun! I know you will miss him terribly, but He was a great father and a good friend to our family. Our love to your mom, Mrs. Sylvia. Mom and I gave often thought about her. You are all in our prayers.love- Carol
