Richard was always very thoughtful and helpful especially on our Keenage trips making sure anyone that needed help had it. He always had a good word for you and funny story and a joy to be around. When I first started traveling with the Keenagers there were 3 couples that made me feel welcome, talking to me, making sure I had someone to eat with or just checking on me. Richard and Laverne Thompson was one of those couples and you both will always have a special place in my heart. My love and prayers for peace and comfort Laverne.
Richard was such an inspiration with his wit, good humor and remarkable memory. We will always cherish his friendship. May God's peace and comfort be with Laverne and all the family in the difficult days ahead.
Richard was a wonderful man. A man of God who loved his family and church family. Please know you will be in our continued prayers. We love you.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
