of Paragould, AR
December 14, 1955 - December 1, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Dusty Allen Wright announces his passing at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017, Dusty Allen Wright quietly passed away surrounded by his family after a brief battle following an accident.
He was a devoted husband, an unyielding father, and dedicated friend. He was someone you could simply ask for help, and he would exceed your expectations in the earnest energy he gave to do so. He will be forever remembered by loving wife, Hazel Lynette Wright, his children, Christina Martin, Dusty Wright, Jr., Hazel Wright, James Wright and Kenny Wright and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, son and friend.
Dusty was born in Elkhart, IN on December 14 1955. As a long-time resident of Paragould, AR, Dusty could always be found at George Ray's Race Track during the racing season and lived his life the same way he attacked the track. He loved the thrill of speed, powerful engines being tested to their limits and often tested himself in the same way.
He was a man of few words and many actions and with respect to his belief in his Native American heritage, we share a Native American Poem to celebrate his life and will remember him always in his passing.
I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.
~Native American Poem~
Daddy it's been almost 2 year's you've been gone but not a day goes by I don't think of you and miss you deeply. Dusty was an amazing man! I knew him as a father figure growing up in Cardwell, MO. He helped almost anyone he possibly could, and he would do it to his max when he did. He may struggled at it, but he still managed to achieve the goal he was working for. He definitely was known, loved, and will be missed by many. Sending my condolences to all the family and friends that knew this special man that the great Lord took home. Also would like to wish him an early birthday as well even though he's no longer with us because we all know he is walking those golden streets and will be celebrating on Friday December 14th. I sure loved this miss man and will love always him as I remember all the good memories we had together.💖💋
