Joseph "Joe" Kea Plough, 49, Memphis, TN died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer. Joseph was born on July 8, 1966 in Memphis, TN to Texan and Shirley Plough. He graduated from Marion High School in Marion, AR in 1985. He played trumpet with the Marion Patriot Marching Band and the Marion Jazz Band. After graduation from high school, he worked in the hotel industry for several years and crafted his love for cooking and baking while working for Viking Cooking School.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hill Plough, his grandparents, Paul and Mae Plough, Charles Hill, Sr., and Charles Phillippe. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Texan and Janet Plough of Greenfield, IN, his sister Patricia "Patty" Plough Compton, and her husband, Tony of Little Rock, AR, his step sister, Beth Noble Haggard of Greenfield, IN, his step brother, Michael Noble, and his wife, Tara of Greenfield, IN, four nieces, and five nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at St. Francis Hospital ICU Unit C for their excellent care given to Mr. Plough.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society or The Lupus Foundation.

Our hearts are saddened to hear of the death of Joe. We ran into him in Memphis one day and enjoyed visiting with him. We have such fond memories of him when he was a young boy living across the street from us. Those were some special times in our lives and we can always keep those memories of all of you. Our love and prayers to you our sweet friends.
