Jessie Colleen Gahr, 91, of West Memphis, AR passed away August 6, 2015. She was born in the Arbor Grove community in Hoxie, AR to William Dent and Pearl Ellen Brady. She was an active member in the American Legion Auxillary for Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, J.T. Doyle and Charles Gahr; daughter, Charleen Collins; and a brother, Jack Brady.
She is survived by 2 sons, Dentie Doyle (Becky) and Dan Doyle (Melva) both of West Memphis; daughter, Jayleen Thrash (Glen) of Springdale; son in law, Doug Collins of West Memphis; brother, Coleman Brady (Roberta) of Sherwood; sister in law, Norma Brady of Bella Vista; 2 step-daughters, Stella Fields and Rosie Brown; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.

My prayers for comfort to the family. Charles and Jessie were such wonderful neighbor/friends when we lived in the trailer park. We lost daily contact after moving. She was such a wonderful person and reached out to me in my loss. Again I have regrets for not calling a special friend when I had such strong thougts of her just day before seeing this notice.

We loved Ms. Jessie, she was one of those beautiful ladies that when you seen her she would always hug you, she always had a smile. She loved to be around people. We are so sorry she is gone, but Heaven got another Angel. Her precious family are in our prayers.
