Rubert Polk 91, of Pangburn, passed away on October 10, 2018. He was born to the late Robert and Florence Polk on March 25, 1927 in Center Hill Ar.
Rubert enjoyed telling stories to everyone he met. He loved listening to and playing music at church and Mt. View AR. Rubert also enjoyed eating out, hunting and fishing with his grandchildren.
Rubert was preceded in death by his parents, one son Joseph Hickman,one grandson D.J. Polk, two brothers James and Ellis Polk, two sisters Eula Mae King, and Lee Dillion.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Dovie, eight children, Ellis Polk, Donald Polk, Goldie Diehl, Patty Johnston, Alva Hickman, Calvin Hickman, Debra Phelps, and Tammy Guffey, one Brother Glen Polk, two Sisters Myrtle Smith and Bertha Russell, 19 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, and 15 Great Great Grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is Monday October 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at the First Assembly of God Church, Pangburn, AR under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery, Center Hill, AR.

God has taken a great man to be with him. I will miss your stories and the "When ya gonna come see me Karen". There is so much to miss. I'm sure I'll see you again one day.
I remember Mr Robert as fine Gentleman. I always enjoyed taking care of one of my favorite customers. So sorry for your loss.
Wish we could have spent more time together bit i am so glad for the memories I have with you and the memories you got to make with Aurora she will cherish them forever! Love you great grandpa!
