Lakie Virginia Harrison of Romance, Arkansas passed away August 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, a son Ronnie and daughter-in-law, Jean. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Harrison (Mary Beth) of Romance and a son Rick Harrison (Peggy) of Rose Bud, six grandchildren, Kathy Murphree, Paul Harrison, Meredith Cook, Jessica Milatz. Jeremy Harrison, Wesley Harrison and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Coeburn, Virginia on June 14, 1917, she moved to California in 1941 and married her husband, Delbert on June 15, 1946 in Bell Gardens, California, where they lived until moving to Gravel Hill, Arkansas in 1964.

She attended Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by a score of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

The Family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at The Crossing at Riverside for the loving care they gave her during her residency there.

Visitation at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy from 6 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Funeral Services at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Aunt Lakie was so good at everything she did. From canning to baking and everything else, she brought smiles to those around her. When my family had no place to live, her and Uncle Deb brought us into their home and spoiled us with love. Thank you for being such a great example. I will love you always.
