When we moved to Searcy in 2013, Marie was one of our neighbors and a fellow member of First Baptist Church. Marie was a true joy to be around. She could give it back more quickly than one would think possible. I'm not sure she ever acted her age; although, she did remind you of it often. The Lord will have to put leaves of gold along the streets of Heaven...so Marie can make sure they're picked up. Our greatest sympathy to all of her family. Marie was one of a kind, and will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Recently I
lost my dear mother, and found great comfort
in the words of Jesus at John 11:11-14, where
he likens death to being asleep, and at John 5:
verses 28,29 - "All those in the memorial tombs
will hear his voice and come out."

David and I had the privilage of being Mrs. Marie's neighbor. She was the first neighbor to welcome us to the neighborhood and took us under her wing as our "adopted grandmother". She always had a smile and a kind word. She was a delightful woman with a kind heart and will be missed tremendously. I know she is estatic to be reunited with her husband in Heaven.

Till we meet again....
All our love,
