Pauline Shultz Harrison, 84 was born on December 20, 1929 in the Red Hill Community, just south of Romance to Houston and Rosie Jones Shultz. She lived in Romance most of younger life. She graduated from Beebe Junior College and also UCA at Conway. Before her retirement in 1977 she taught in Rose Bud, Osceola, Cabot and Searcy.
She was married to Carl H. Harrison and they owned The Harrison Sharpening Business, where she helped with the Business.
Pauline was member of the Four-Mile Hill Church of Christ. Her hobbies were signing and writing songs, poems, and short stories.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Harrison, three sisters, Vertina Fowlks, Gereda Perry and Doris Dodson.
She is survived by one nephew, Glendell Roberson, and one niece, Arvina Kaneff of Bardstown, Kentucky. She is also survived by several grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Romance Cemetery.

Dear Aunt Pauline... i want You to know i love You... You were an amazing Aunt to me and my children and i love You for that. i only wished i would have know about You passing on so me and my sister Cathy, could have gone to say good bye... i am very thankfull for visiting You last year and our drive out to Romance. i also want to thank Wilma, Tammy and the nurses for caring for Aunt Pauline, Yall are a gift from Jesus thank You so much... I'm just finding out today about Aunt Paline. I know she's rejoicing with grandmother and her sisters. I hate I didn't know before today. I'll drive over to see her grave sight. My dad is still in the nursing home with Alzheimer's. Thank you to whom ever had to do the planning for her. My cell is 318-489-7784. Please someone call me.
