Mr. William Elbert Kitts
December 1, 1910 - April 9, 2012

William Elbert Kitts, 101 was born on December 1, 1910 in Water Valley, Kentucky to Francis Benjamine and Viola Agatha Dacus Kitts and went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2012 in Searcy, Arkansas. Mr. Kitts was a retired Farmer and a Member of the Mount Hebron Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 52 years and Deacon Emeritus until his death.

Mr. Kitts is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Susie Kitts; his parents; a daughter, Mary Haney; a son, Arlie Kitts; and his only sister, Thelma Williams.

He is survived by three sons, Crawford Kitts (Betty); Charles Kitts (Pearlene); James Kitts (Linda); four daughters, Letha Altom (Dean); Marie Siler (Carl); Alma Bennett (Keith); all of Searcy, Arkansas; and Kathleen Auten (Jack) of Pangburn, Arkansas, 22 Grandchildren, 48 Great-Grandchldren, 22 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 7 Grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 11, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Thursday April 12, 2012 at 2 pm at the Mount Hebron Baptist Church with Bro. Harold Hansell, Bro. Chad Brandson, and Bro. James Hays officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, and Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Interment in the Honey Hill Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, family request donations to the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Bldg. Fund, 119 Mt. Hebron Church Road, Searcy, Arkansas 72143.
