Willie Ann Feather Hichborn, 68 of Pangburn went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 22, 2011. She was known as Ms. Willie by many of her customers and friends. Ms. Willie owned and operated Willie's Fish House between Searcy and Pangburn for fourteen years. She was always known for her God given magnetic personality that characterized her. She never met a stranger and she made everybody feel important.
She was born Tuesday, July 7, 1942 in Griffithville, Arkansas to the late Richard and Mary Corder Feather. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Feather and grand-daughter, Julie Anna Schmidt. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Frank Hichborn of the home, a son, Joel Schmidt and his wife Jennifer, two granddaughters, Jodi Schmidt and Jami Schmidt; three sisters, Virginia Waggle (Quartase), Loreta Hestir (William), Elizabeth Sumrall (Billy); two brothers, Thomas Feather (Ahnean), Charles Feather (Linda); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family has suggested that memorials in memory of Willie be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or to the Episcopal Collegiate School in Little Rock. Visitation will be 6:00 pm 8:00 pm Thursday, February 24, 2011 in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, February 25, 2011 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following the service at Dogwood Cemetery in Griffithville.
I am so sorry to hear of Willie Ann's passing. As a child hood friend and class mate of Willie Ann, I fondly remember many happy times in the Feather home.

We are so sad to lose our wonderful sister-in-law. She will be greatly missed. We are so glad we were able to spend time with her and Frank last year in Streator. Our sincere condolences to all of you.

I will forever remember the time Willie took Charles Ray and me deer hunting, although we did not bag the big buck that day we had a wonderful time. The times I spent at the Feather home are very special to me and I will never forget the wonderful times we had growing up together. God bless you every one.
