Evelyn Marie Bennett, 63, of Bassett, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. Born Sunday, January 11, 1953 to Billy Gene and Mildred Gail Bennett, she was a homemaker and a member of the Bassett Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: one daughter Toni Bennett; her father Billy Gene Bennett; three brothers: Gene Wellington Bennett and wife Sally of Joiner; William Kevin Dewayne Bennett and wife Pam of Dyess; and Leslie Jones Bennett of Joiner; five grandchildren: Abigail Fore, Rebekah Housman, Ryan Housman, Hannah Staubs and Kendell Staubs; two great-grandchildren: Curtis Aidan Fore and Lukas Gene Fore. She is preceded in death by her mother and one brother Bryan Edward Bennett.

I loved Evelyn & her family very much & we had many great moments when she lived in Memphis with me. She was always such a very kind & wonderful friend. Sending hugs, love, & many prayers for comfort in this time of sorrow for the family.
