Oh how I will miss "Latitude". She and Ann Parvin took me under their wings when I first came to Langston in 1979. Gloria and I were team teachers together and had such a fun time. This picture is the way I will always remember and cherish her - with a smile and kind words to say. She hosted a bridal shower for Bob and I and later was a "grandmother" to our Emily. Our prayers are with all of you. I know she is at peace with the Lord.

Martha, Linda, Travis and Katie, so sorry to hear about your Mom and Grandmother. She was such a great teacher, touched so many lives, and I was blessed to have known and worked with her those years at West Elementary. I appreciated her wisdom and her humor. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you and God Bless in the days to come.

Glo was a part of my life early. She taught me in the second grade there in Osceola. Was Mom's best friend and helped her a lot in those bad times.

I will miss her deeply. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
