The loss of a loved one is always a difficult time. I would like to give my condolence to the family. May his memories always live in your hearts. While our loved ones 'sleep' in death, find comfort in the words of Revelation chapter 21:4 where it says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." This promise is concerning future conditions on the earth since heaven does not experience such things as death or pain. God's original purpose for mankind was to live in a Paradise on earth forever. "He has not changed" according to Malachi 3:6. Remember these comforting words as you await the resurrection of your loved one, Franklin.
