Mary Alice Hall, 81 of Newport, North Carolina passed away Friday, June 19, 2015. Born March 31, 1934 in Bassett, Arkansas to the late Morris Carl and Ruby Alice LaRue Golden-Perkins. Survivors include her daughter Inez (Cliff) Schweitzer; son James Wick (Jeri Ann) Hall III; five grandchildren: Whitney Pope, James Pope, Alyssa Schweitzer, James Wick Hall IV and Lydia Rose Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wick Hall Jr.; parents; two sisters; Lorraine Mitchell-Lloyd and Carline Dunlap, one brother Raymand Delmar Golden.

I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Hall from when we lived on Mickey Drive in Whitehaven. She was such a kindhearted person and was such a good friend to my mother. I am so glad to have known her!
