Gladys Montgomery, 89, of Fort Smith, formerly of Keiser, Arkansas died January 15, 2015. She was born January 16, 1925 in Holcomb, Missouri the daughter of Clay L. and Dixie (Smithson) Lott. Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church of Keiser, Arkansas and retired as a cook for Keiser Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Dixie Lott; her husband of forty-four years, Monroe Montgomery; one daughter, Sharon Montgomery; and one sister, Bugs Davis.
Survivors are one daughter, Lynn Woodward of Jonesboro; one son, Butch Montgomery of Fort Smith; one sister, Margret Christian of Blytheville; one brother, Sonny Davidson of Brandon, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Cindy Montgomery, Jamie Goff, Jimmie Lynn Whitehorn, Joevelyn Rowland, Jessica Holdaway, Brian Woodward and Jay Stephens; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Montgomery, Loren Goff, Whitlee Rowland, Jordan Turknett and Brylee Holdaway.
