Essie Hill, 90, of Osceola entered into rest Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Osceola. Born February 7, 1920 in Jackson, MS to the late Thomas Elie Reece and Alice Starling Reece, she was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker. She is survived by three sons: Tommy Eldon Hill of San Diego, CA, Gerald Edward Hill of Osceola and Donnie Hill of Edwardsburg, MI; 20 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 28 great great grandchildren; two brothers: Nubin Reese and Joe ''Shorty'' Reese She was preceded in death by her son: Billy Wayne Hill and Charles Ray Hill; daughters: Betty Ruth Pearson, Nellie Sue Smith and Johnnie Lee Watkins; seven sisters: Effie Birchette, Doris Sailor, Louella Johnson, Josie Murphy, Berbille Izzo, Georgia Neighbors, Beatrice Neighbors; one brother: Doug Reese, Victor Reese and Rubin Reese.
