Frances L. Wallace, 78, of Dyess entered into eternal life, Saturday, September 19, 2009, in Batesville. Born Thursday, March 5, 1931 in Tyronza to the late Victor Mitchell and Clara Mae Burt Forrester, she was an active member of Dyess Central Baptist Church and was secretary and treasurer of the church, held a Masters Degree in Special Education, and retired from Dyess Public Schools with 30 years of service. She was on the Dyess Reunion Committee, Johnny Cash Committee and a member of Home Extension Club. She was well-known for making candy and popcorn balls. She is survived by her son: Larry A. Wallace of Jonesville, LA; her daughter: Brenda W. Smith of Edgemont, AR; three grandchildren: Stephen K. Tatum, Jr., Cheryl Bentley and Ken Smith; seven great grandchildren: Trae Tatum, Josh Tatum, Kimber Tatum, Roxanne Bentley, Scarlett Bentley, Jacob Smith and Sam Smith; one brother: Mitchell Lavern Forrester and wife Bettye of Elkhart, IN; two nephews: Randy Forrester and David Forrester; two great-nephews: Kyle Forrester and Marc Forrester; one great niece: Gail Forrester Pedroza. She was preceded in death by parents, one great-grandchild: Justice Tatum, one niece: Carrie Ann Forrester and father of her children: John A. Wallace, Jr. |
