I would like to express my deepest sympathy's to
the family of Sheriff Leroy Meadows. He was a fine
man and he will surely be missed in the law enforcement area. I can just see him and Dave of
Wendy's in that commerical he won with him and
think of how handsome he looked on TV with
Dave and that his family must be bursting with
pride for him for doing this. I know I was proud
he won cause he was the best of the men and he
deserved it. I didn't know him personally but I
had meet him due to some problems and he was
very helpful in getting things done for the matter,
I know you all will miss him very much but he is
with his Lord and Savoir now and he is up there
watching over you and his commrades he served
with. I just learned about this yesterday or I would
have signed this sooner but still I am glad i could
sign it now and tell you how lucky you are to have
had him in your life and how Mississippi County
had him as a sheriff there he was the best there
was.
God bless all of his family,
Betty Byrd

Dear Tom and Family,
I was sadden to hear of the news of your dad. He was a great man, a great dad, husband and leader in the community.
My plans were to make it to the visitation or the funeral today, but issues came up and I will not be able to make it. I wanted to see you, being it has been years since we last talked.
Your father is very proud of you, as were alot of us who grew up together and seen how you have advance over the years in the Navy.
Take care my brother and I will always remember your dad teaching me how to drive on snow and ice....remember that morning going to school when you and him picked me up? I have taken that knowledge now and passed it on to my children who are of driving age.
Give a hug to your mom for me and I miss all of you. Hopefully sometime in the future we can all meet and reflect back on things.

Ms. Vivian, How very sorry we were to hear about the loss of such a wonderful man. He will be missed by many not only in Mississippi County but throughout Arkansas. He was a comfort to me during the sudden loss of my son years ago and his words of kindness to me during that time will never be forgotten. I wish God's blessings on you Ms. Vivian and you can know that He will indeed comfort you during your loss.
