E.F. ''Rick'' Rickert, 77, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away at his home on July 30, 2017. Rick was born on June 12, 1940 in Ewing, Nebraska to the late Fred and Daisy (Donnelly) Rickert. Rick was a veteran of the United State Marine Corp. and worked for many years as an electrician.

Rick is survived by his wife, Alice (Royal) Rickert of the home; one son, Scott F. Rickert of Morrison, Colorado; one daughter, Leighane D. Rickert of Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Ray C. Rickert of Agoura Hills, California; two sisters, Joyce E. Lake and husband Tuffy of Mountain View, Arkansas and Marion R. Thorpe of Mountain View, Arkansas; one grandson, Alex Otero and one granddaughter, Emma Rickert, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Daisy (Donnelly) Rickert.

A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas at 2:00 PM with Brother Joel Snyder officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

I went Uni for 3 years with Ric we had alot of together. He was with me when I pulled the fire alarm on 3rd floor. We were so scared we run into each other running. I happened to see his brother name in Lincoln paper. Sorry about Your loss.
