Ruth ''Perchy'' Marie Clark, 71, of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Batesville Health and Rehab in Batesville, Arkansas. Ruth was born on December 22, 1944 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Paul and Novelle (Blair) Baumert. Ruth was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas. She was a cafeteria worker for 25 years and will be truly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Maxie Clark who as of August 25, 2016 would have been married 54 years; two daughters, Melinda Clark of Ward, Arkansas and Lynne Stokes of Vermont; two brothers, Robert Baumert of California and Frank Baumert of Sherwood, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Corey Stokes, Blair Camarillo, John Stokes, and Rae Stokes; five great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Novelle (Blair) Baumert.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 6:00-9:00PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, 10:00AM at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas with Brother Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Corey Stokes, Blair Camarillo, and John Clark Stokes. Honorary pallbearer is Rae Stokes.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

We are sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. We attended school with Ruth and her bothers at Pleasant Grove. Our condolences to the family from the Syfert Girls (Lynda and Elaine). .

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Maxi you were wonderful to Ruth and I really appreciate the friendship that we had when Ruth was with us at Mountain Meadows. We all loved her and she was very special to so many of us. May God give you peace and comfort during this time.

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth"s passing she and i were friends in school, but after we got married we didn"t see each other for years until she moved back to Pleasant Grove and i thank God for Blessing me with letting us meet a few times and visit, Ruth was a sweet person, i do not know her husband or children but i pray for God to give them peace and comfort in knowing that she is in a better place.
