Ed Bales, 73, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on May 19, 2016 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. Ed was born on January 24, 1943 to the late Howard Buford and Melba Ruth (Dawson) Bales in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ed worked for many years as a project estimator for the United States Government. Ed will be truly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Ed is survived by his wife, Paula (Kinny) Bales of the home; one stepson, Darren Crawford of California; four stepdaughters, Colleen Crawford, Debbie Crawford, Dorren Valadez, and Tricia Rincon all of California; one sister, Jean Bales of Georgia, and five grandchildren, along with many loving family and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Buford and Melba Ruth (Dawson) Bales.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016, 1:00PM at Arise Church in Mountain View, Arkansas with Rev. Tommy Lee officiating.
