May 28, 1938 - May 29, 2015

Sylvia Storey, 77, of Mountain View, Aransas died at her home May 29, 2015. She was born May 28, 1938 at Graham, Texas to Jesse Leon and Sewilla (Ledbetter) Sheehan.

Sylvia was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from Wal-Mart. She enjoyed taking pictures, working in her flower garden, and being with her family.

She is survived by her mother Sewilla Sheehan of Lake Worth, Texas; one son Douglas W. Storey and wife Anita of Mountain View, Arkansas; one daughter Deborah Loyd of Haslet, Texas; five grandchildren Alicia Hernandez & husband Miguel, Landon Storey, Tiffany Flores & husband Antonio, Kanyon Loyd, and Karissa Storey; nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father Jesse Leon Sheehan; husband Warren Storey; son Jeff Storey; brother Robert Sheehan.

Visitation is Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral Services are Monday, June 1, 2015 at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas 1:00pm. Daryl Pitts will be officiating. Pallbearers are Randy Storey, James Storey, Skip Lane, Mike Gross, Dylan Burns, and Derek Burns. Honorary pallbearers are Landon Storey, Lyndell, and Kanyon Loyd.

Dear Family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss; please know that you are not alone. You can find much comfort in the Holy Scriptures which assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I am at a loss of words .........I am so sorry ........but I am glad that I knew Sylvia and I worked with her the first 3 years the Walmart opened in Mt View. She had a very sweet personality. My condolences to the family.
