Grace Evelyn Whitfield Edwards, 86, of Mtn. View, Arkansas died June 4, 2012 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born on December 17, 1925 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Jack and Bertha (Risner) Whitfield. She was a member of the Vine Street Baptist Church and a dedicated housewife. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
She is survived by a son, Jack Edwards of Wichita, Kansas; brother Roy Blake Whitfield; grandchildren, Jamie Eaton and Michael Edwards; along with a host of many friends and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bertha Whitfield; husband, Harlin Edwards; one sister; and three brothers.
Services will take place at the Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas on Wednesday June 6, 2012 at 2:30PM. Burial will be at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Michael Edwards, Mark Whitfield, Mark Branscum, James Whitfield, Jeff Whitefield, and Robert Whitefield. Officiating the service will be Brother Randy Long.
