Dewayne ''Chauncey'' Still, age 66 of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at his home. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on September 17th, 1951 to Rex Utah Still and Laura Maxine Trogdon Still.
Dewayne was a Freemason and a member of Campbell Masonic Lodge #115 in Marshall, Arkansas and St. Joe Masonic Lodge #317 in St. Joe, Arkansas. He worked for United Van Lines as a truck driver for 8 years. He never had an accident and won several safe driving awards. Dewayne was also a certified welder. He was a lifelong rancher and an avid horseman. Dewayne was a considerate, generous, kind neighbor and friend who was always willing to lend a helpful hand when needed. He was a family oriented man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. He called them often and enjoyed family dinners and get-togethers. Dewayne was the glue that held his family together and his strong presence will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sharon Glup Still of the home; two daughters, Tammy (Michael) Combs of Ozark, MO and Lori (Luke) Atkinson of Harrison; grandchildren, Kaylee Werth, Cassidy Werth, Madison Combs, Colter Pavelsek, Wyatt Pavelsek, Dakota Atkinson and Kyla Atkinson; nephew, Chris (Julie) Willis and their children, Payton and Maci Willis; and nieces, Tina (Stacey) Nofsinger and their children, Morgan (James) Stierwalt, Shelby (Harley) Yeckel and their son, Grayson Yeckel and Blake Horn and son, Phoenix.
Dewayne is preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Maxine Still; and one sister, Sharon Horn.
Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.
Graveside services for Dewayne will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at Still Cemetery in Marion County, Arkansas with members of the local Masonic Lodge officiating. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
