Linda S. King, age 72, a lifelong resident of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on August 24th, 1944 to Ross Owens and Bernell (Clemons) Owens.
Linda was a retired home health aide. A job she enjoyed and worked very hard at. She traveled all over Searcy County and took care of many senior citizens. Linda's most difficult challenge was the death of her son, Anthony in 2012. She was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren and she loved them very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, JoAnn Fountain; and son, Anthony King.
Survivors include her sister, Freda Hall and husband John of North Little Rock; two grandchildren, Natalie and Caleb King; uncle, J.W. Clemons; niece, Melissa Overstreet Zawislak; nephews, Jason Overstreet and Jerry Smith; many cousins; and her many friends who helped her following a stroke in 2015.
Funeral services for Linda will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Shane Horton officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery near Marshall. Pallbearers will be Harold Blackwell, James Fountain, Charles House, J.D. Peronia, Billy Fisk and Eric Horton.
Linda was always such a good friend to my grandparents. An I have very nice memories of visiting with her in her store with my granny. She was such a sweet lady and funny, so sorry for her family's loss.

I have so many good memories of Linda when she had the store where Housley Physical Therapy is located now. We have spent lots of good times together and was a very special Lady. I pray God will comfort all of you during this time.

Linda was a very special person. She loved working for the people she took care of. She will be remembered with fond memories by all who knew and loved her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Linda was a great friend, she loved visiting with people, and will be missed. She loved her family more than life, was a wonderful caregiver and hard worker. Rest In Peace dear friend.

So sorry, to here of Linda's passing. She took care of Bentleys father over 13 years ago and she was outstanding at her job.
