Ethel Ivy, age 96, of Russellville, Arkansas (formerly of Tilly, Arkansas) passed from this life Friday, September 18, at Russellville Nursing and Rehab Facility. She was born June 12, 1919 in Lendale, Texas to parents Fred and Nealie (Renfrow) McKay.

Mrs. Ivy was a homemaker and was married to Julius Ivy for 60 years, who passed away in 1997. She was a member of the Tilly Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She loved caring for her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include: one son, Arlen (''Sonny'') and wife Pat of Russellville; one daughter, Juanita and husband Eulan (''Dude'') Godfrey of Tilly, AR ; five grandchildren: Raylene (Gerald) Fountain, Leora (Greg) Housley, Karen Ivy, Donny (Marlana) Ivy and Steve (Amanda) Staples; thirteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; sister Edith Patterson of California; and many nieces and nephews who will also mourn her passing.

Graveside services for Ethel Ivy will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Union Hill Cemetery near Tilly, AR. with Bros. Nathan Ferguson, Wade Ivy and Russell Fountain officiating. There is no visitation. Arrangements by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home of Marshall, AR.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
