To the family of Ms. Veda, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a beautiful person inside and out. What a wonderful example she was to all who knew her. I will truly miss her kindness and sweet smile. What a reunion she must be having with the Lord and her loved ones that have gone on before her. Definitely our loss but Heaven's Gain.

We truly wish we could be there to celebrate the life of our sweet Aunt Veda! She was an amazing woman and loved by so many! Although she will be greatly missed here on earth, we know she is now Home with our gracious Lord, and there is no better place for her to be at peace. We look forward to the day we can once again see her bright, smiling face and embrace her love when we meet her at the beautiful gates of Heaven. Until then, we will hold on to each wonderful memory and keep her spirit alive in our hearts!

I am so sorry for all of us that knew Veda ...she was a very much highlight of a Christian lady in our life. Yes she had a beautiful smile and personality ......smiled inside and outside with her heart. I have really been meaning to call and find out how she was doing and if she would still know us and at least call her. Give all the loved ones our love and know we would be there at the funeral but we can't make it and would have loved to been there for her other 2 sisters that were precious in our hearts also.

Mrs. Veda was a special lady, as were her sisters Eathel and Mildred. My best memory of Veda, since we have lived here, was seeing her and Eathel in their bonnets cleaning the fence rows in front of their houses with axes and hoes.
I believe they were both in their eighties at that time. It was a very memorable scene...one that I have wished I had captured with a camera. She and her sisters set good standards for their community. Mrs. Veda will be missed.
