Nora Mildred Adams Passmore, age 93, of Thola, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. She was born February 05, 1922 at Marshall, Arkansas to Culbert and Mandy Stephenson Adams.
Mildred was a devout Christian and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and
great-great-grandmother. She was married to Firl Passmore for 59 years and lived in the same house at Thola, Arkansas for 76 years. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She also loved to fish, sew, crochet, and make a garden. She was employed at Flintrock Shirt Factory for 15 years.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Firl Passmore, daughter Winona Kay and great-grandson, Nicholas Morrison; sister Hazel Adams; brothers: Howard, Argus and Voncil Adams (all World War II veterans) and Nelson Adams of Hot Springs, AR.
Survivors include: her daughters Janice Keene of Mountain View, Arkansas; Betty (Danny) Wingo and Vickie (Audry) Halsted of Thola, Arkansas; Deanna (George) Bennett of Kansas City, Kansas; and Evelyn Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Faye Gotcher of Harrison, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mildred Passmore will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas, with Bro. Kenny McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Burial will be in Passmore Thola Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

"Aunt" Mildred was indeed a woman filled with grace. Her smile was always gentle and welcoming. Her heart always seemed to be open and pouring out love and laughter. We are both blessed in knowing her. Our love and prayers are with you all through this next season of time.

May God be with your family in this time of sorrow, I loved Mildred she was such a wonderful woman. Has fun playing at her house as a child. Will miss her terribly. She will rest now and be with family gone on before.
We were very sorry to hear of Mildred's passing. My earliest memories are of the time we lived next door. She was a very respected and loved member of the Thola community. Prayers of comfort for the family.

There is a lonesomeness after the death of one's Mother ,but I want you to know that your friends and family are thinking of you and sympathizing with you in this time of your great loss. I will never forget the friendliness and kindness of your Mother. She was loved by all who knew her.
