June 23, 1934 - July 19, 2014

Mr. Kenneth D. Hazlewood, age 80 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Globe, Arizona on June 23, 1934 to Glenn Hazlewood and Pauline (Gibson) Hazlewood.

Kenneth was a very avid outdoorsman. He truly enjoyed the deer woods and hunting with his sons and grandsons. He always relished his time spent fishing and camping in God's great outdoors. He was a Master Gardener, growing fruits and vegetables for his family and friends while taking great pride and pleasure in keeping his yard and home in immaculate condition. Kenneth loved his family; his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom lovingly called him Pappaw. He was a member of the Leslie First Baptist Church and loved his church family dearly.

His parents, one brother, Alvin Hazlewood and three nephews precede Mr. Hazlewood in death.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Margie (Patterson) Hazlewood of the home; two sons, Gene Hazlewood of Oxford, MS and Steven Hazlewood and wife Marla of PineBluff; four grandchildren, Kenny Hazlewood and wife Kaytee of Oxford, MS, Tommy Hazlewood of Honolulu, HI, Michael Hazlewood and wife Cara of Little Rock and Joshua Hazlewood and wife Annabeth of Benton; and three great grandchildren, T.J., John Cole, Maggie and Clark Hazlewood.

Funeral services for Kenneth will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Brother Wylie Hardin officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Hazlewood, Michael Hazlewood, Joshua Hazlewood, Wendell Passmore, Austin Passmore and George Sinclair.
