Mr. Eugene Clayton LeMarr
March 7, 1918 - July 22, 2012

Eugene Clayton LeMarr, age 94 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the John L. McCellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Campbell, Arkansas on March 07, 1918 to James Harvey LeMarr and Pearly (Massey) LeMarr.

Clayton was a member of the New Hopewell Baptist Church. He retired from the Arkansas Highway Transportation Department. He loved taking care of his cattle.

Clayton is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Willie Mae; and two brothers, Rutherford and Ray.

Survivors include daughter Mary Jane Horton and husband Darrell of Leslie; one brother Ralph LeMarr of Harrison; three sisters-in-law, Irene LeMarr, Lefern Hennessee and Eula Branum; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Clayton LeMarr will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Rev. David Watts officiating. Special music will be provided by Cynthia Thomas. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in the Elberta Cemetery in Leslie.

Pallbearers will be Michael LeMarr, Rydale LeMarr, Phillip Thomas, Johnnie Thompson, Aaron Ray Hennessee and Michael Branum.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Leland LeMarr, Billy Ray LeMarr, Michael Ray Hennessee, David Hennessee, Billy Hennessee, Jimmy Branum, Faye Preddy and Mitzi Myers.

At the families request donations may be made to the Elberta Cemetery or the Berry Cemetery fund, Simmons First National Bank, Marshall, Arkansas, 870-448-3341.
