Randall Lee Purtle, 88, of Mabelvale, passed away September 30, 2018. He was born October 29, 1929, the son of Newton and Mamie Cruise Purtle in England, Arkansas.
Randall was a meat packer for C. Finkbeiner, Smoky Hollow Food for many years. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Mabelvale. Randall was a sergeant in the Army during the Korean War, a leader of the Boy Scouts, member of the American Red Cross and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jacklin Davis Purtle; a daughter, Sharon Foster of Mabelvale; three grandchildren: Mary Dil, Steven Carnahan and Eliott Purtle, all of Mabelvale; two great grandchildren: Heather Curran of Cabot and Vivian McLaughlin of England and a sister Dean West of Alexander.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Lee Purtle.

A graveside service will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR. 72120 on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with the Bro. Roy Polk officiating.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
