Mattie Copeland, 70, of Mabelvale, AR., departed this life to the waiting arms of Jesus on October 26, 2017. She leaves behind two sons, Larry (Tammy) and William (Tina); two grandsons, Larry Jr. ''Buzzy'', Patrick; one granddaughter, Heather; two great-grandson's, Mason and Landen and two great-grand granddaughter's Madlynn and Kylee. Also, six sisters: Virginia (Joe), Hazel (Billy), Lela (Lloyd), Linda (Cliff), Beverly (Eddie) and Angel (Steve); one brother Vernon (Selma) and a host of nieces and nephews including great and great-great.
Mattie was preceded in death by her husband ''Mac'' Copeland; a brother James Pinson; and her parents, Vernon and Agnes Pinson.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching tv, talking and laughing with family. She also enjoyed helping people in need. She used to say she couldn't stand for anyone to go hungry.
A special thank you to Dr. Walker and his staff for not giving up and the nurses on 2nd floor at St. Vincent Hospital for their wonderful care.
Graveside service will be 2 P.M., Monday, October 30 at Jones Cemetery, Redfield, AR, with Bro. Jason Smith officiating.

Larry and William so sorry for the loss on your Mother (Mattie) She was a special Lady..Her and Linda would burned up the
roads taking her to the Doctors..Just laughing and having fun.
and Mattie would alway look forward to fixing Thanksgiving and
Christmas dinners..And having the Family all around Her..
Well.. now we know she is in no Pain and Suffering any more.
She is with the Lord in Her new Place with Her Love ones...
