Dear Norton family,

I regret being tardy in writing you 'words of condolence', however i just learned of Mr. Norton's life ending. We were friends at all kinds of sales and shows - even Stamp Presentations! He was always such a darling gentleman.
Our neighbor, the late-Henry Lorish was so thrilled when he was invited to say a prayer at the Official Unveiling of the ARKANSAS SESQUICENTENNIAL STAMP at Robinson Auditorium. I went to be part of the historic event. All the 'Stamp Collectors' were such great pals and Mr. Lorish spoke very highly of Mr. Norton too. Alas, he has been gone a long time and his widow - Bonita - just died this year.
Please know you will all be included in my prayers. You were a very blessed family to have had such a wonderful man in your midst; He is surely discussing a Flying Jenny stamp in Heaven today!

To our extended family:
How saddened we were and are to hear of Bro bill's passing. His example was kind and gentle of which we will never forget. We will also remember the goods times singing together the southern gospel that we enjoyed in common. Our love and prayers to all. Bob & Gena
