Bonnie Jean (MeMaw) Lawson went to be with Jesus on May 28, 2015. She was born in El Paso, Arkansas to Robert (Bob) and Jewell Colbert. She was married 63 years and precedes her husband Billy Joe Lawson, Daughter Debbie and husband Terry Whitworth of Morrilton, son Billy Steven Lawson and wife Mona, son Chuck and wife Tammy Lawson of Bryant and son Tim and wife Eileen Lawson of Little Rock. Bonnie was dearly loved by her family. She loved to cook and was always in the kitchen preparing meals for her family. She served her Lord faithfully all of her life. She loved the little children she taught in Sunday school and was always involved in Vacation Bible School. She was a faithful member of Ironton Baptist Church and a former member of West Side Baptist Church in Little Rock.
The family would like to recognize several special people and organizations. Hospice Homecare was very instrumental in caring for Bonnie in her last days. Vessie Harris and Pam Williams were there to give mom love and care and became part of our family.
