Elbert Ray Swain, 69, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, a retired Electrician for 26 years, died Friday, April 24th, 2015. He was born in Hawthorne, Nevada; but raised in Benton, Arkansas. He was a member of the Hubble-Delk Levy Memorial VFW Men's Auxiliary Post 11474. He served his country in the Army National Guard from April 1963 to April 1969. He had a passion of love for his puppy dogs that he had during his lifetime, he loved singing karaoke and having fun with his family and friends, and loved riding motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Eugene and Juanita Swain, a brother Donald Gene Swain Sr., a sister Patsy Ford, and a nephew Robert Swain.
He is survived by his daughter, Diane Swain Carter of North Little Rock, Arkansas; his son, Andy Roush of Benton, Arkansas; three grandsons: Dusten Richey and his wife Kim of Ohiowa Nebraska; Hunter Ulrich of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Tyler Ulrich and Shae (his soon to be wife) of Cabot, Arkansas, and two great grandchildren: Abby and Ty of Ohiowa Nebraska. Also, some very special nieces and a nephew: Debbie Ford Fotioo, Linda Ford Zuber, Pam Ford Gann, Donna Jan Swain Tedeton, and Donny Swain. Also numerous cousins, extended family, Friends, and his Biker Buddies.
Visitation with the family will be at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72209, 501-455-5800, on Wednesday, April 29th from 6pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome to attend a Graveside Burial Service which will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 30th, 2015, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Bill Singleton will officiate the service.
Contributions in memory of Ray Swain may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
May you find comfort in knowing Uncle Ray had an unconditional love for you Diane. You were the shining star and the best thing he ever had in his life. He told me he was so thankful to God above for allowing him to be your Daddy. Love to you always, Donna

My family and I cannot express how sorry we are for the loss of Uncle Elbert. We will always remember him fondly and cherish all the great memories we had with him. Don't you know that mawmaw, pawpaw, Uncle Don, momma and him are having the best time together now? Our prayer is that God will guide you through this time in your life.
