I am sorry to hear of the passing of Doyle. I loved having the opportunity to umpire with him. He was so patient, teaching and explaining the fundamentals to being a good umpire.

I pray that God comforts each of you during this time.

Doyle was a friend of a lifetime. We began and finished school in Prescott and shared many wonderful experiences there. Please know you are in my prayers as you go through this difficult period of loss and adjustment.

Dear Covington family,

We are so sad to hear of Uncle Doyle's passing. He gave the best hugs whenever we saw him, and we could tell he was genuinely glad to see us. My sister Sherry and I had breakfast with him and his sister Joyce last year about this time in Bryant as we traveled through.

He will be truly missed. May God comfort all of you in this time of need. We love you. (Cathy Turner Messecar)
