Aunt Millie, Some of my earliest memories are from visits with you and Uncle Charles. I can still hear your peals of laughter. Christmas eve. . .a madhouse of flying paper as we all dug into the presents at the same time. The "Bowerman Restaurant" all you can eat all day long food buffet. Fishing stories. . .that huge fish that Charles (or you?) caught and brought to our house. Unc talking to the taxidermist on the phone to make sure they kept the fins on.! What a good time.
Thanks for the beautiful fancy dress you gave me when I was small. I don't remember it, but we have a photo! Ruffles and lace with my skinned and bruised knees.
Before you were Mimi. . .you were Auntie! You will live in our hearts.
Charles, sorry to hear about your Mom's passing from Carolyn Evans yesterday. We bowled together for several years in the Ladies Major League along with Mary McAnally who is also gone. I hadn't talked to her in a while. Tried to get her to go out to lunch a few times, but she didn't want anyone looking at her in her wheelchair. My condolences to you and your family.
I will cherish the wonderful memories you and I have.I love you and miss you already.
I know you are in a better place and you are fishing with paw paw. Till I see you again.
