My prayers to all Pete's family. My memories go back to sitting in his kiitchen with the family, and to learning photo processing from Pete and my dad in the MacDougan Panoramic photo lab in Pete's backyard. As fine a man as has lived. I'm thankful to have known him and looked up to him as a fine friend to my dad and mom.

Pete was a man that you could always count on for a hand and a cheerful word. His dedication to the Guard and it's mission was at the highest level. It was an honor to serve with him and know him. There is a sorrow fills my soul at his passing. god bless his family in this time of mourning.

I didn't want to believe it at first, Pete was such a good friend to us. Through the years together in the ANG he taught us so much. He was one heck of a carpenter, a perfectionist at that. He knew how to chew ones behind out and they would walk away smiling..His words of wisdom were amazing to me, we will miss you Pete. Our prayers are with you Merry and family.

Dear Marilyn & Kim and all of the McKissacks,
Charles and I will not be able to come down for the funeral but know that our prayers will be with you. Charles fell and broke his right arm 11-1-10 and is still in a sling. He had to have surgery (plate & pins). We have a lot of memories of the camping trips at the lake with all of you. Know that we love all of you . Pete was a great guy and a good friend to our family. Love & kisses to all, Marie & Charles

Our family relationship with Pete goes back to Pete's and my father and mother's twenties years of age. Dad and Pete served in Korea together and worked together and were great friends both during business hours, but also personally.
My prfessional relationship began in 1969 when I joined the Air National Guard and lasted beyond my retirement 32 years later.
Pete was a good natured man. A true craftsman of many skills, but most of all he was a good man willing to help the youngest or the oldest.
He will be sorely missed. God's comfort and grace to all of those whosed lives he touched.
